WHY IS MONEY SO DESIRED AND HATED OFTEN AT THE SAME TIME?

Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly of WILS on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” Radio Show, on 5/9/17 on WILS, 1320 a.m.in Lansing, Michigan about WHY IS MONEY SO DESIRED AND HATED OFTEN AT THE SAME TIME? We Americans dislike inequality at a escort kızlar mersin general level and also greatly admire the self-made millionaire. These incompatible views often coexist in a person at the same time. A strange inconsistency oddly reminiscent of the book, “1984”. This of course leads to so much conflict in our society. A reasonable view is to never be jealous of persons economically more powerful than we are and find out how they did it rather than envy them. The goal is for everybody to have enough to allow them to have a comfortable life with the opportunity to do better economically if desired. When the wealthy are arrogant and condescending of others without wealth is what leads to great resentment of them and are traits the wealthy must not develop.

ABILITY IS WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING. MOTIVATION DETERMINES WHAT YOU DO. ATTITUDE DETERMINES HOW WELL YOU DO IT

Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly of WILS on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” Radio Show, on 5/2/17 on WILS, 1320 a.m.in Lansing, Michigan about a quotation to give advice karatay bayan escort to persons on the importance of successfully merging ability, motivation, and attitude to reach one’s potential. Even though the quotation comes from the retired football coach, Lou Holtz, the advice is universal. It is as follows: ABILITY IS WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING. MOTIVATION DETERMINES WHAT YOU DO. ATTITUDE DETERMINES HOW WELL YOU DO IT. Few persons seem to ideally merge all three together. Too often, ability is not even appropriately identified. If identified, motivation must be maintained over an extended period of time. Attitude is critical to be the person who can effectively merge ability and motivation into success in life. Attitude is a trait angry and entitled persons are usually lacking to the degree needed for reaching maximal potential. Unfortunately, attitude is also not often sufficient for persons of low self-esteem. They too often believe they do not have what it takes to succeed and perform in life down to that level.

Dr. Braccio gives the example of the teacher to show how Ability, Motivation, and Attitude interact:

    1.  Ability: To teach at a high level.

    2. Motivation: To strongly desire to give knowledge and learning to students.

    3.  Attitude: To strongly encourage students to learn is critical. An attitude that is demeaning or does not effectively encourage students to learn negates the Ability and Motivation of the teacher to have students learn.

3 WAYS TO GUARANTEE FAILURE IN LIFE

Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly of WILS on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” Radio Show, on 4/25/17 on WILS, 1320 a.m. in Lansing, Michigan about 3 WAYS TO GUARANTEE FAILURE IN LIFE. 1. Complain about everything. 2. Blame others for your problems. 3. Never be grateful.Ultimately, our mind can make anamur eskort kızlar our life earthly heaven or hell. As John Milton said in Paradise Lost: THE MIND IS ITS OWN PLACE AND IN ITSELF CAN MAKE A HEAVEN OF HELL OR A HELL OF HEAVEN. All persons are dealt cards to play out their lives. How they play them determines the course of their lives as well as that of their families and everyone they encounter. In life, to be bitter and jealous will set the course for your life. Choose not to do that and be successful and happy in life.

A few useful quotes are as follows:

    1. Jeff Bezos: Complaining isn’t a strategy.
    2. Stephen Hawking: People won’t have time for you if you are always angry or complaining.
    3. Zig Ziglar: Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining. It bothers everybody else, does no good, and doesn’t solve any problems.
    4. Joyce Meyer: Watch out for the joy-stealers, gossip, criticism, complaining, fault finding, and negative, judgmental attitude.

Other models include working out of the home, working part-time, staying out of work until the youngest child is in school full day, as well as grandparents or the father doing the job. The most critical factor for the mother is that she must be comfortable emotionally to be able to be the best mother she can be for herself and the children.

HOW PARENTS CAN PROTECT THEIR CHILREN FROM POSSIBLE SEXUAL ABUSE

Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” Radio Show, on 2/7/17 on WILS, 1320 a.m.in Lansing, Michigan about HOW PARENTS CAN PROTECT THEIR mersin anamur eskort bayanları CHILREN FROM POSSIBLE SEXUAL ABUSE. At a time a local doctor, Dr. Larry Nasser, is accused of sexually abusing many persons under age over many years, they agree nothing is worse than sexually abusing a child. Parents need to begin talking to their children as early as two years old to let them know that their private parts are special and it is wrong for others to touch them unless it’s a parent or another appropriate person. They also must know they cannot touch the private parts of others. Because some children when young may not be able to identify their private parts that may have been inappropriately touched, we need to teach young children to name the parts of their body to avoid any confusion. Parents need to know that the projected odds are that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually molested before they attain eighteen years old. Good, open, sensitive, and accepting communication between children and parents is critical. Parents and children after sexual abuse too often sadly walk the tragic line between outrage and despair. They feel powerless to change the past. Parents need to contact the police, a teacher, medical staff, or go to emergency if they believe sexual abuse has occurred. State law requires all medical, educational, and mental health workers to report possible sexual abuse. In a difficult world for so many children, we must do all we can do to eliminate sexual abuse and the possible horrible effects on the lives of any sexually abused children.
