WHY PEOPLE FEEL THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND HOW TO OVERCOME THIS FALSE BELIEF

Dr. John H. Braccio talks with Dave Akerly on the “Morning Wake-Up With Dave Akerly” radio show, on 1/8/19 on WLNS, 1320 a.m.in Lansing, Michigan escort mersin about WHY PEOPLE FEEL THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND HOW TO OVERCOME THIS FALSE BELIEF.  Reasons people believe this range from the feelings of soldiers who feel overpowering guilt for something they did or did not do that caused death or injury to a fellow soldier to low grade ongoing Depression that defines you as a person not worthy of anything worthwhile, let alone happiness. Various other reasons would include blaming self for childhood sexual or physical abuse, problems of their children and/or other family members, and feelings of Anxiety and/or Depression that are felt to be deserved and accepted as normal in a life where happiness does not have a place.  Strategies to overcome the ingrained belief people do not deserve happiness include substituting negative thoughts with positive thoughts on an ongoing basis, apologize for wrongs done and make up as much as possible for them, accept mistakes were made and move on to enjoy the present, and recognize the past cannot be changed but how it is interpreted and learned from will allow happiness.
